What Tenants Take Care Of
For most single-family homes, day-to-day upkeep of the yard and exterior is the tenant's responsibility:

Keeping driveways, steps, and walks clear after snow and ice.
Pest Control
Routine pest prevention and treatment inside the home.
Some properties differ — certain multi-unit homes or specific lease terms may handle these differently. Your signed lease is always the final word.
